Passados 23 dias desde a montagem do aquário, trago novas actualizações do seu estado. O desenvolvimento das plantas tem sido bom. Os musgos têm já pontas novas de crescimento praticamente em todas as folhas e a R. nanjenshan começa a mostrar já um crescimento vigoroso, bem compacto e exuberante. Tenho conseguido baixar as durezas com a água de osmose e isso tem-se reflectido na assimilação dos nutrientes por parte da Flora. O próximo objectivo é tornar esta planta de caule avermelhada, algo que será mais fácil daqui por uns tempos quando as folhas estiverem mais próximas da luz.
O crescimento da Flora tem-se devido, principalmente, ao regime de fertilização adoptado, constituído sobretudo por micronutrientes, particularmente, Ferro. As algas verdes aproveitaram igualmente esta disponibilidade de nutrientes, tendo colonizado grande parte da rocha e do tronco. Estando a Flora com um crescimento saudável e as algas igualmente com um ritmo de crescimento competitivo, a solução passa por diminuir gradativamente as quantidades de Fase1 e Extra1, de modo a que um equilíbrio se estabeleça entre injecção e assimilação.
[ENG] After 23 days since the tank set up, I bring updated news from its stage. The plants development has been fairly good. Mosses have new growth tips in almost every leaves and R. nanjenshan begins to show an exuberant, compact and vigorous growth. I have managed to lower the hardness levels with RO water and that reflects in the Flora nutrients uptake capacity. My next goal is to make this steam plant reddish, something that is easier to do in awhile when the leaves are closer to the light.
The Flora´s growth is majorly due to the adopted fertilization regime, represented by micronutrients, particularly Iron. Green algae have also taken advantage of this nutrient availability, having colonized great part of the rocks and wood. Being the Flora with a healthy growth and the algae equally with competitive development, the solution is to decrease, gradually, the quantities of Fase1 and Extra1, in a way that a balance is reached between nutrients injection and plants uptake.
A Fauna mantém-se saudável e os Crystal Red têm-se reproduzido razoavelmente bem. Infelizmente, descobri que os I. werneri, de vez em quando, também gostam de comida viva e assisti, quando as luzes acenderam, a um Crystal Red com poucos dias ser comido por desses peixes. O acender de repente, da luz, criou o pânico no camarão que se aventurou para a zona da superfície, zona essa normalmente batida pelos peixes. Em menos de 5 segundos estava tudo acabado. Era inevitável...

The Fauna remains healthy and Crystal Red have been breeding quiet well. Unfortunatelly, I found out the hard way that I. werneri, once in a while, also like live food and assisted, as lights went on, a baby Crystal Red being eaten by one of those fish. The panic of the lights turning on made the little one adventure himselfe to the surface level where the fish patrol constantly. In 5 seconds it was all over. It was inevitable...
